Short Term Debt Programmes

Anglo Irish Bank's short term debt programmes target a geographically diverse range of corporate and institutional investors. All notes issued off these programmes are guaranteed by The Minister for Finance of Ireland under the ELG Guarantee Scheme. €3,000,000,000 European Commercial Paper (ECP) Programme

The European Commercial Paper programme provides for the issuance of up to €3 billion. Notes can be denominated in a wide range of currencies and carry a maximum maturity of 1 year. The ECP programme is listed on the Irish Stock Exchange and individual notes can be listed if required.

There are seven primary dealers on the programme:

  • Credit Suisse
  • Deutsche Bank
  • The Royal Bank of Scotland
  • UBS Investment Bank

The Programme de Certificats de Dépôts provides for the issuance of up to €2 billion. Notes carry a maximum maturity of 1 year. The programme is regulated by the Banque de France and complies with the standards set out in the STEP Market Convention.

There are four primary dealers on the programme:

  • Société Générale

$4,000,000,000 US Commercial Paper  (USCP) Programme

The US Commercial Paper Programme provides for the issuance of up to $4 billion. Notes carry a maximum maturity of 1 year.

There are four primary dealers on the programme:

  • Banc of America Securities
  • Citigroup Global Markets Inc
  • J.P. Morgan Securities Inc
  • Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc


London Certificates of Deposit

The Bank is an active issuer of London Certificates of Deposit which can be dominated in a wide range of currencies.
